Cherwell is looking for an IT whizz to help with the technical side of our operations. The ideal applicant will be competent in maintaining and repairing PCs and using and working with Windows XP.

A knowledge of server management and networking is essential.

The successful candidate will be required to mainting the computers in our office on a weekly basis and be available at short notice should we encounter technical emergencies.

Cherwell is looking for aspiring photographers to be part of its Michaelmas team.

Photographers are required to get pictures for news stories, feature articles, take shots of matches for the sport section or do the fashion/Fit College photo-shoots. Successful applicants will work on a weekly basis and be co-ordinated by the editors of our respective content sections. As such, being a photographer for Cherwell is a varied and exciting opportunity.

Cherwell is making the most of the opportunities provided by online media and are, as will already be evident, branching into multimedia reporting (audio podcasts and video clips).

We're currently looking for people who want to get involved in video production at Cherwell - whether you have experience or not - we'd love to hear from you if you're interested. The successful applicant(s) will get to work as part of the video team, working with the Video Editor and Online Editors. The video team produces news and feature reports for cherwell.org on a weekly basis during term-time.

This is the only opportunity to get involved in video media at Oxford University, and provides a special chance to be part of the overall Cherwell team.
