RSS from Cherwell
'RSS' stands for 'Really Simply Syndication' and delivers regularly changing web content straight to a user's browser in the form of a list of recent updates.
Why bother?
Having your feeds in one place saves you time: instead of repeatedly visiting websites to check for updates, you are informed when new articles are posted. You only have to subscribe to sections that interest you, such as news and music. RSS also preserves your privacy as you're not giving away your email address for a mailing list.
How do I use it?
You can access RSS content by clicking one of the links below, and then copying and pasting the address of the page into your RSS reader. There are a number of these around, some being browser-based and some desktop-based. Browser-based RSS readers are becoming increasingly popular, and Firefox has a built in RSS reading function where you can simply choose to subscribe to an RSS page you're currently viewing. On desktops, you can access RSS feeds using Apple Mail on Apple OS X Leopard while on Windows programs like NewzCrawler can be used.
What feeds can I get at Cherwell?
You can subscribe to the following RSS feeds. There is one available which lists all new content posted on cherwell.org, from every section, and we also have a selection of more specific feeds; Podcasts, for example.
